Myself.

You know those people you meet on the internet? The ones who understand everything about you? The ones who accept you as true friends even though you’ve never met them and maybe never will? The ones who are there for you when you’re down, and are willing to pick you back up? The ones waiting for you online when you get home from school/work everyday? Those amazing people who love you for you and accept your love for them. 

You all have them. At least one of them.
There comes a time when you wonder if you’re ever actually going to make anything from the friendship you have with these people. You wonder if you’re actually ever going to meet them. You wonder if they’ll really like you if you ever get the privilege of meeting them. 
We try to keep these people close, but sometimes we can’t.

Last year sometime, I met a boy from England on Omegle. We spoke for a while and he was really nice. I added him on MSN and then never spoke to him again.
Not until a few months ago.

We got talking, and turns out we had a lot in common. We got along really well and ended up talking just about everyday. He was really funny and really kind. We were like two peas in a pod.

We made jokes about annoying Facebook girls who write “I wub u 4eva!! I mean 5eva!! even more!!!!!” constantly. After that, “7eva” became an inside ‘joke’ of ours.

We skyped a few times and laughed together for hours on end. We became really close.

He told me he didn’t believe in teenage love, but that he loved me. And despite the fact that we’d actually never met in person, I told him I loved him back.
I thought what we had was special, but eventually he just..left.

“This is goodbye.” Is what he said, and has made no attempt to contact me since then.

I don’t know how to deal with something like this. He’s just completely gone. He literally just vanished. 
I wish he’d come back, but I know he never will.

I hope you’re reading this, Jake, this is for you.
